Red Tractor Assurance Cold Crush Oilseeds Scheme (formerly part of ACCS)

Red Tractor Assurance sets out to maintain, develop and promote integrated Assurance standards for the benefit of its members within the food and agricultural industry. The aim is to provide consumers and retailers with confidence about product quality attributes including food safety, animal welfare (where applicable) and environmental protection.

The Red Tractor Assurance Cold Crush Oilseed Assurance Scheme operates as part of the broader Red Tractor Farm Assurance Scheme for Crops and Sugar Beet. It is for the on-farm cold crush processing of oilseeds, such as linseed and rapeseed into meal, and reflects the importance of animal feed safety standards within the food chain and the need to meet contractual and legal obligations.
