Welcome to Red Tractor Assurance Information and Services 

Red Tractor Assurance sets out to maintain, develop and promote integrated Assurance standards for the benefit of its assured members within the whole food industry. It sets standards for farms as well as other critical links in the food supply chain both pre- and post-farm.

This website covers all Red Tractor Assurance across the whole food supply chain and is split into four main areas (click the tabs top right) : pre-Farm, Farm, post Farm and Checkers and Services.  

Red Tractor Assured food is world class. It is produced on farms that are managed by highly professional, well-qualified and caring farmers and marketed, transported and processed by skilled and expert businesses throughout the food industry. 

Red Tractor Assurance is owned by Assured Food Standards (AFS), the independent organisation that manages and promotes the Red Tractor quality mark on food packs.

Red Tractor Farmer Survey 

Red Tractor Assurance has commissioned a survey to gain a better understanding of farmer attitudes towards Red Tractor assurance schemes and feedback on their awareness of Red Tractor in the press and advertising. A sample of farmers will be contacted by telephone and invited to participate. The survey is also being made available online here so any Red Tractor member or non-member can provide their feedback and views.

Team Red Tractor Feeding The Olympics

To celebrate Red Tractor being selected as an integral part of the Olympics Food Vision, we’ve launched TeamRT an initiative to showcase all the work that our famers are doing in preparation for their role in supplying quality assured UK food for the biggest peacetime catering operation in the world.
