Red Tractor Farm Assurance Fresh Produce Scheme (formerly AP)

The Red Tractor Farm Assurance Fresh Produce scheme sets out to maintain, develop and promote Assurance standards within the fresh produce industry. The aim is to provide consumers and retailers with confidence about product quality attributes including food safety and environmental protection.

Red Tractor Farm Assured fresh produce is world class. It is produced on farms that are managed by well-qualified, caring highly professional growers. Certification to Red Tractor Farm Assurance Fresh Produce demonstrates that the high standards of production meet nationally agreed levels of best agricultural practice. The Scheme offers individual crop protocols for 50 different fresh produce crops.

Previously known as Assured Produce (AP), the Red Tractor Farm Assurance Fresh Produce scheme is now fully integrated into Assured Food Standards (AFS).
