Red Tractor Farm Assurance Dairy Scheme (formerly ADF)

The Red Tractor Farm Assurance Dairy scheme sets out to maintain, develop and promote Assurance standards within the dairy industry. The aim is to provide consumers and retailers with confidence about product quality attributes of the milk leaving the farm premises, including food safety, animal welfare and environmental protection.

Red Tractor Farm Assured British milk is world class. It is produced on farms that are managed by highly professional, well-qualified and caring stockmen. Certification to Red Tractor Farm Assurance Dairy standards allows producers to demonstrate that their standards of husbandry and welfare meet nationally agreed levels of best agricultural practice.

Previously known as Assured Dairy Farms (ADF), and even before that NDFAS, the Red Tractor Farm Assurance Dairy scheme is now fully integrated into Assured Food Standards (AFS).
